About me…

My name is Jen Detlor. I am a freelance Graphic Designer based out of Belleville, ON who specializes in logo design. Logo design is a passion of mine because I love the creative process of developing a company’s identity. I have been in the field for 4 years now, and have enjoyed ever minute of it. Other than logo design, which I love if I already didn’t say that, I also do illustrations, branding material (business cards, letterhead etc.), posters, web design, and more.

I graduated from St. Lawrence College in Kingston, ON, where I received my Advanced Graphic Design diploma in 2009. Not long after graduating I had the pleasure of working for Revell Bisnaire Advertising & Publishing Inc., where I designed print advertisements for The County Grapevine magazine (A lifestyle magazine for the regions of Prince Edward County, Hastings, and Northumberland.)

I love to travel, and had a great experience driving across Canada and the United States. My greatest adventure was working at the 2010 Winter Olympics and living in Whistler, BC for 2 years. While living in Whistler I had the opportunity to work at a contract company called Select Contracts, where among other things I designed the icon for Wadi Adventure (Middle East’s first man made whitewater rafting, kayaking and surf facility)

I have now returned to the Quinte region, where I hope to build a large clientele who I can assist with their graphic design needs. I am currently working with the Stirling Agricultural Society designing advertising and promotional materials for upcoming events.
